A Simple Life?
You’ve finally had enough of adventuring.
No more monsters.
It’s time to settle down and live a nice, simple life.
Unfortunately, you chose retail.
Run your little goblin shop, search the shelves for increasingly strange bits of junk, and combine them together to satisfy your customers’ vague and ridiculous requests.
Need something blue and magical? How about a pair of boots glued to an ancient rune?
Something edible and dangerous? A strawberry and a sword sounds close enough.
Find the right items, throw them onto the workbench, pull the lever and present your creation before your customer loses patience.
How to Play
WASD — Move
SPACEBAR— Interact / Pick Up / Place Items
- Customers request items with specific traits.
- Search the shop for junk containing those traits.
- Place items on the workbench.
- Pull the lever to combine them into a finished present.
- Deliver the present to the correct customer.
- The more requested traits you match, the better your rating and score.
- Earn enough points to survive each day.
As the days go by, more customers arrive and their requests become increasingly complicated.
You only wanted a simple life.
How hard could running a shop possibly be?

just one level. the game is super hard and there is no progression
but i liked it so much. too bad you can only play for like a couple minutes
thank you for the feedback! the game should go on for 5 days before it ends with each day getting harder with more customers and more points needed to progress. I only had myself and my partner to playtest so balancing might be a bit off! It definitely needs work in a lot of areas and only spent around 12-14hrs total working on it! I need to book some time off work and have some dedicated time to making a game for my next attempt!
